FAQ

FAQ

Q:  Why do you want my diabetic test strips?
A:   We buy test strips and get them to people with little or no insurance at affordable prices.   By selling your test strips, you are not only helping yourself by getting money for them, but you are also helping people with diabetes who don’t have health insurance.  It’s a win-win situation.

Q: When do I get paid?
A: If you live in Indianapolis or the surrounding area, we generally try to make arrangements to meet same day for immediate cash.
If you ship your test strips to us, we send payment out to you within 24 hours of the shipment received.

Q: Can I recycle more then one brand at a time?
A: Yes, you can recycle as many boxes and/or brands that you have to recycle.  There is no limit on what you can recycle.

Q: Can I recycle other diabetic supplies such as needles and insulin?
A: We don’t accept insulin or needles.  We understand that insulin is extremely expensive, and there are times when you have insulin that you don’t use, and don’t want to throw away.  Legally, we are not allowed to accept insulin or needles.

Q: Is it legal for me to recycle my test strips?
A: Yes, it’s legal to recycle your test strips, lancets, and meters.  Unlike insulin and needles, these products are available over the counter, and anyone can walk into a drug store and ask to purchase these products.

We do ask that all test strips, and lancets are still factory sealed and unexpired.  This is for the safety of the people receiving the test strips or lancets.

Our Guidelines

  •  All test strips must be factory sealed.
  • All test strips must be unexpired.
  •  If there are pharmacy labels, we ask that you just leave them on, and just white out and/or use a marker to go over your information.  We do carefully remove all labels using label remover, so we don’t damage the boxes.
